Memberships demonstrate to our funders that we have community support; this helps us access funding to provide high quality community programs.

FREE 2014 community programming

  • Bonnie Blink Exhibition & visiting artists and author talks
  • Early Learning Project: 2 month long environmental , inquiry-based learning project at Little Current Public School and Churchill Public School
  • Get Active with the Arts: a year long series of art excursions on trails around Manitoulin, collaborating with several local groups and communities
  • Free Land Art, Painting and other workshops: Manitoulin Passage Ride; Grade 9 and 10 students at MSS; KTEI Fall Harvest Festival; ELK class (LCPS); Espanola Fibre Arts Festival

Low-fee and subsidized programs

  • Kids 2-5 year old art studio sessions; Indigo Dyeing Workshop with Manitoulin Spinners and Weavers
  • Manitoulin Resilience Roster: cultural worker and cultural organization training sessions
  • Low cost meeting space at our new Kagawong Studio

Behind the Scenes

  • Steering committee member, Social Enterprise Evolution project; Committee Member, Training and education Constellation; participation in the development of the Manitoulin Arts and Cultural Council; Chairing of New Initiatives Committee; Member, Billings Economic Development Committee
