Summer 2017 Program

Subject: Plants, Trees, & that Green Slime!
July 5, 9 – noon

Simple plant and tree identification, plants that the dinosaurs would have seen, plant adaptations and life cycle, all about algae!

 

Subject: Water, Water, Water!
July 12, 9 – noon

Learn about water flow, temperature, ph, water cycle, & the water table.

 

Subject: Who Lives Here?
July 19, 9 – noon

Learn about all the critters who live in and around the river: invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles, birds, mammals, and more!

 

Subject: You Rock!
July 26, 9 – noon
Learn all about rocks, fossils, clay, and dirt in this half-day program. $20/child. Contact the 4e office at 705-282-0444 for more info.

Kids spend a fun-filled day outdoors along the river. In the event of heavy rain an alternate indoor program is offered.

Each session includes a mix of river science and art-making, led by experts and professional art educators.
