Sustainability in Business Workshop

The conventional view is that businesses must choose between profitability and environmental sustainability. This workshop will demonstrate that it is possible to have both. We will discuss what sustainability means and learn about four system conditions for developing a sustainable society. By looking at case studies, participants will apply sustainable thinking to solve contemporary business problems.

Rebecca Danard is the executive director of reThink Green, an environmental non-profit network based in Greater Sudbury. Before joining reThink Green, Rebecca was a professor of music at Cambrian College. As an artist and environmentalist she is passionate about bringing diverse people together to create ideas, share expertise and develop projects.
